What Am I up to Now?

Last Updated: June 21, 2020

This is a Now page, inspired by Derek Sivers.

The primary purpose of this page is for you to get to know me better. On this page, you will find everything that I’m up to as well as the things that are top of mind for me.

WayneLiew.com is growing at a steady pace. An average of 12 people visits the site in the last 30 days. What I am really proud of, though, is my consistency in putting out one new essay or book summary a week.

Social Media Presence

To get more people to read my essays, I am posting new content on LinkedIn about three times a week. Aside from just posting, I am following the $1.80 LinkedIn Strategy by Gary Vaynerchuk, which is to engage with the content posted by others.

I am also creating quotes and informational pins on Pinterest.

After the content pieces get published on LinkedIn and Pinterest, I repurpose them for distribution on other social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and Medium.

Currently, the top traffic sources for WayneLiew.com are:

  1. LinkedIn
  2. Facebook
  3. Google

I love to read during my past time. If I’m not going through a Kindle book or a physical book, I will be reading/watching/listening to items that I saved to my Evernote. I consider myself a slow reader because I take notes as I read.

Taking care of my nutrition is a huge priority for my health right now. I am overweight, but I have been making progress shedding off my body fat.

I try to start every morning with a coconut oil-infused green smoothie, a cup of Lion’s Mane Mushroom Coffee by Four Sigmatic, together with health supplements such as fish oil, vitamins, and colostrum.

While I still love eating shawarmas, pizzas, noodles, and burgers, I shifting my diet towards cauliflower rice, leafy vegetables, and lean meat. It is not easy. I hope educating myself by reading up on nutrition and mindful eating will help.

Feel like we have a lot in common after going through the above and my About page? Don’t hesitate to reach out! I’d love to get connected with you.
