For the last five years or so, I’ve been redirecting traffic from this domain to my travel content site.
That domain is wayneliew.com – the first domain I ever bought.
The domain marks my foray into the world of blogging (known as the blogosphere back then), affiliate marketing, SEO, advertising, before I become the digital marketer that I am today.
Today, I am reigniting the domain.
What Will It Become?
WayneLiew.com will become my public journal – a place where I document my journey, lessons that I learned along the way, as well as my thoughts on business, marketing and life.
This site is actually my fourth attempt at documenting my day-to-day after watching Gary Vee’s Document, Don’t Create video.
I started by posting daily snapshots of my work.
I then tried going live on Facebook every single day for about a month.
After that, I gave daily vlogging a shot, and this attempt lasted for more than a year. I know, I was surprised by my persistence too.
I loved all these attempts. I grew so much along the way. But it also took me a lot of time to produce those videos, thumbnails and images. At times, I felt frustrated because I felt I could have spent more time on the actual work.
Let’s see how documenting through text will turn out…
Work Done for Today
- Setup WayneLiew.com on Cloudways from scratch.
- Implemented Genesis Framework with minor design customizations.
- Implemented a bunch of WordPress plugins that I always use for my sites.
