Wayne Liew Dot Com was founded on 20th of August 2007 and it started out as a personal blog with a variety of articles, including life rants, thoughts, humor and current issues.

In August itself, a couple of posts get some attention in the blogosphere.

On September, signs of Wayne Liew Dot Com becoming a niche blog is becoming more significant.

October is a month to remember for Wayne Liew because it is the month whereby he made the decision to turn Wayne Liew Dot Com into a niche blog on blogging tips and guides. Some of the successful blogging tips posts written in this month include:

November is quite a successful month for Wayne Liew Dot Com with the following popular posts.

However, Wayne Liew Dot Com closes the year with a miserable month because traffic decreases by 50% due to holidays and reduced effort by Wayne Liew himself. However, a few good posts successfully get some attention by readers and RSS Feed subscriber numbers marked the highest increase in this month.

There you go, Year 2007 for Wayne Liew Dot Com. Personally, I think Wayne Liew Dot Com got through Year 2007 with a few highs and lows but turned out to be doing alright.

There are many challenges in life, so:

Some Silent Thoughts for you to digest:
“Anger is punishing oneself for the mistakes of others”
“Be a tolerant person, not a person who is tolerated”
“Nothing is impossible with confidence, perseverance and courage”
“Never lose courage. Never lose faith. Nothing in this world is impossible when you are determined”
“Being needed by others and having the ability to serve is what makes our life truly blessed”
(I guess this is what being a blogger is about aye? To serve our readers. )

Here are some of my fav quotes:
“Hope for the best, be prepared for the worst”
“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me”
    “Always look before you leap”

    Bob Marley would say:
    “Don’t worry, be happy”

    Mika goes:
    “Relax, take it eeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssssssy”

“Witch in a crystal ball” told Eddie Murphy in THE HAUNTED MANSION:
“The real failure is when you stop trying”

Finally, always try to practice the 90/10 Principle yo!

    Time flies, mate.

I just published an article about an old friend setting up his own shop front recently and I just realized that I would have known him for 20 years by next Tuesday!

The year was 1988 when I was standard one, in primary school when I first got to know this friend.

Recent months, after getting to keep in touch with some childhood primary school mates / friends again by chatting via MSN, and after I plunged into the Blogsphere head on:

I REALIZED THAT TIME IS MOVING WAY TOO MOFO-KING FAST!!!!!!!

There is simply not enough time for me to do everything I want to complete in a day.

Must develop up proper time management skills.

    Oops!

I ranted a bit too much I guess.
I guess that would be enough from me for now aye?

    Cheers, mate!

As I mentioned in another comment somewhere, one of the better Blogging Tips blog I’ve seen. :)

what do you expect from this site in the future.

Expectations? Nope, just do your best.

Also, what suggestion would you give to this little boy who will be turning 18 next year?

Great effort. Nice to see something good coming from someone your age instead of some crappy blog.

For you, plan out your studies and your blogging time.
For your blog, you have to improve the layout on the right side.

    ————-

Based on your post. Looks like your readers are mostly kids from school? Holiday everyone go travel or something, no more visiting the site.

50% drop of visitors is quite a lot.

On my side, December turned out to be a WOW month. Especially around Christmas week when I was expecting a drop in traffic and page views. Last minute computer part shopping perhaps?

I don’t know, I really expected that my 2 week absence would make December the worst month of 2007 and it turned out to be the best. Page views and visitors are at all time high for the past 5 days.

Best part of 2007? To be recognized by various computer companies (including ASUS!), and getting sponsored, with goodies provided for reviews. All this are worth more to me than $$$.

Some really nice posts there, Wayne. I’ve only noticed your blog a couple weeks ago and I became a subscriber and a regular commentator pretty soon. It shows that you have such compelling content. You know, it takes some nice content to get me subscribed to a blog. I hope your blog reaches new heights in 2008.

All the best and good luck!

    @ kljs
Thanks for the good complements. I am glad that this blog helps.

    @ Deimos
The first time I get such a long comment. I didn’t count the words but surely it is the longest in length.

Thanks for the long advice which a few of it will be in my thoughts over the new year since I will not be celebrating.

    @ pablopabla
Perhaps I will. Nah, I will see whether I can afford it or not. A customized theme is too much for a college student. Maybe you should sponsor me one.

    @ goldfries
Your blog is definitely a good one from your niche. The 50% drop is something I expected because of the drop in posting, lack of marketing (I slowed down my commenting on other blogs) and also lacking of effort I guess.

My right layout has always been a problem for me. The TopSpot widget didn’t fit in well with the small fonts in “Popular Posts”. I also have a long categories list which I am still deleting irrelevant posts from my blog.

    @ Ruchir
Thanks for the complements. I will try my best to work out the articles and of course, all the best to you as well for Year 2008!

There is highs and lows of course. I like visiting ur blog because I want to read what tips is installs for the readers.

Delete post? I suggest don’t delete it, maybe make it to draft instead. About the long category list, maybe you can make it across two columns like the “Latest Comment”.

Ur blog content is good for a age like you, coz, I’m not going to write something mature like this when i was 18! And congratz to ur feed readers, gonna hit 100 soon!

    w00t!

I have set a new record for the comment with longest length in WayneLiew.Com then!

Think I went a bit off topic with that comment of mine earlier.

    Sorry about that aye!

Looking forward to your posts in year 2008.

Thanks for the suggestions and complements. Well, as for the RSS subscribers, I expect to drop a little bit when Year 2008 kicks off since I will not be posting anything until the next year.

    @ Deimos
Never mind since this is a blogger-reader interaction post in some way. I will not be posting anything until 1st of January.

    Happy new year!
