Malaysians’ PayPal Dream Comes True

September29

There are so many people asking me on how of cash out from their PayPal account and now this post is making your dreams come true because PayPal is allowing you all to withdraw your funds into credit cards, debit cards and bank cards embossed with either Visa or Mastercard logo. I read this on Sweet Surrender’s “Malaysians Can Withdraw Paypal Now! - Debit Card Version” and I quicky logged into my PayPal account to withdraw my lump sum of PayPal funds after I posted my article, “Reinvest PayPal Funds On Blogging”. Let’s follow me for the step-by-step:

First, you click “Withdraw”to go to your withdrawal page.

You will be directed to a page where you will have to enter your credit card or debit card details which includes your billing address of the card you have entered.

Guess how much I withdrew after the jump!

I feel like swearing! All the anxiety and heart pumping ends with the message below.

My AmBank NexG Prepaid Credit Card failed to performed so guys, continue to proceed if you got through and you will get getting cold hard cash after 4-7 days. Although AmBank NexG Prepaid Credit Card failed to work, Alex claimed that hisEON Bank’s MOL Freedom Card worked in his withdrawal attempt.

Al-Radjhi Bank Debit card can be used to withdraw the funds and I guess Public Bank Electron Debit Card can be used as well. The same thing goes to all major credit cards embossed with Visa or Mastercard logo.

Anyway, this withdrawal service charges USD5 per withdrawal. Are you thinking that this is expensive? I can tell you it’s not. Other withdrawing services like Accent Card and Virtual Money Inc. (VMI) card already charges you USD35 for the card itself! With this service now effective, I also suspect more participations from countries previously in PayPal’s “not withdrawable” list in paid posts writing.

This failure causes my funds to stay inside my PayPal account for at least another 7 months before I can get myself a Public Bank Electron Debit Card. I hope that they don’t change their policy.

What are you guys waiting for, start cashing out your funds and treat me nice food. Anyone successful? Tell me! Any failure? Tell me as well! For those who applied for those expensive cards to withdraw your PayPal funds last time, what are you having in mind?

Cool, share with us the list of successful credit and debit cards. OK? Thanks.

    @ lukxiufung
I am not sure about this, maybe it can help to pay your outstanding amounts. You should try contacting your credit card issuer. :-)
    @ Sean
You’re welcome. Continue to wait for it to grow. If you don’t want to spend it, you can always reinvest into your blog or shop on eBay.

    @ thiamhin
Yes, then you can start cashing out. Good luck!

    @ Sze Ping
Some still claimed that it is expensive but for me, it is reasonable if compared to previous services that Malaysians used to withdraw PayPal funds.

    @ qing87
MOL Freedom card’s customer service is not that good although it is cheap. Refer to this comment by coder.

P/S: MOL Freedom card can be used in this withdrawal as stated by Alex, I feel like switching now…
    @ Samm
Oh my God, how come you have so many? Can sub one for me? If it is successful, can you please inform me on how it works on credit card?

Maximum of USD500 one month not enough for you? Actually, it is USD500 daily (more than enough). Anyway, I guess that this has something to do with their fraud prevention policy.

  14. On September 30th, 2007 at 11:50 am Samm Says:

Hi, Wayne. $500 per day haimai. Not per month, LOLZ. I withdraw nearly 4k a month. If withdraw to credit card, if you have outstanding amount on your card, it’ll deduct from the total lah, like you make repayment via interbank giro transfer lidat. Mine is an empty card, so i withdraw via atm. But got fees wan i think. Cant remember loh, cos i never withdraw money from my credit card via atm also. But now testing jek. If they treat it as cash advance, i’m so gonna scream. But i wont know until i call my bank up. Too lazy lah now. Month end mah. But i can always add another card to Paypal so that i can use the amount i withdraw to it as repayment.

For credit card, if you want to withdraw, you will be charge for around RM 50-60 per transaction. If you using debit card, you will NOT be charged but RM10 charged if you withdraw from 3rd party bank.

So, is better to register a debit card with paypal.

Now the question again. I register my credit card with them already. So, can I change it to a debit card?

  30. On October 1st, 2007 at 4:19 pm Alex Says:

Monkey. As long you can link your debit card to paypal, it will not be a problem :) So public bank also can.. It is recommended that everyone should use a debit card link to paypal rather than a debit card. If you withdraw using a credit card, they will consider that as cash advance, not including the interest you would require to pay in the end..

Yes, indeed. Mastercard users, be patience like me. PayPal will reward us for the patience. Hmm, maybe Mastercard users will be waived of the USD5 charge. :-P Just kidding!

    @ lukxiufung
Public Bank Debit Card works. Contact your bank about it as I can’t give you any assurance on these issues as bank policy might differs.

Debit cards are always better if you rarely spend more than what you have. :-)

    @ Awangku Yusli
Under the circumstances now, cards with a Visa logo should work. :-) Good luck! Just try it out!
