If you have noticed, there’s a new little badge on the top left hand corner of each and every one of my articles. Well, that is the Sphinn badge.
Sphinn is a social media site which works like Digg. You found an article, information or news that you like when you are online, you submit it to Sphinn and other members there will vote or Sphinn the articles submitted. Articles with a lot of Sphinns will eventually get onto the front page of Sphinn which will get the source a lot of traffic.
Is Sphinn All Alike With Digg?
No, it is not. If you visited Digg before, you will find that there is actually no sections or categories for blogging guides, Internet marketing, search engines optimization skills and other webmasters-related articles.
Sphinn is here just for these articles. You can find thousands of articles on blogging there (with Wayne Liew Dot Com now adding to the pile), tips on how to close an Internet sale and even tips on how to get great keyword rankings in Google!
Is My Blog Suitable for Sphinn?
You will need to find the right social media for your blog. Before this, I am crazy with StumbleUpon and my love for it has never died since. I am joining Sphinn because of the large targeted traffic that I might be able to get from the site.
If your blog is Internet issues-related, it will be suitable for Sphinn. Check the site out yourself to see whether the articles you are writing will suit some of the categories there or not. If not, you should check out other social media, Sphinn is not for you.
My Blog Failed. Can I Qualify for Sphinn?
Of course you can! I am sure the administrators of Sphinn and me will be very happy to have you registering yourself to Sphinn. Register yourself a Sphinn account here and if you think I have wrote a useful blogging guide, just Sphinn my article and I will be grateful for that.
Other than Wayne Liew Dot Com, you can also Sphinn articles which are being submitted by others onto the site and articles from other blogs which are not yet Sphinned by others.
Will I Betray StumbleUpon for Sphinn?
At first glance, I still think StumbleUpon will get more traffic for a blog and as a social media user myself, StumbleUpon is a great tool which I have fun in using. Unless I get my articles onto the front page of Sphinn, I won’t get to comment much about the effect though.

All of them serves different purposes if you really try them out although in the eyes of bloggers, they all bring in traffic.
As you can see, I only write for two, Sphinn and StumbleUpon because I know targeted users for my blog will be from these two places.
As for your anime blog, StumbleUpon will be a great place for you to play around.

This social network sharing thingie really that effective in driving traffic? Especially Stumble Upon? I have yet to try it out though.

Deimos: Yup, SU can drive massive amount of traffics, but that also depends on your topic, for me writing breaking news & celebrities gossips worked the best
Wayne, your blog is just perfectly targeted for Sphinn, I do think that you can get quite a lot of traffic from that site
