Before you start reading this post, I would like to apologize to everyone that came forward with your precious comments in my post, Whacked for Paid Post Spamming, especially Josh Lim, the founder of Advertlets. I have been taught a lesson the hard way! I gave in to stupid thoughts and naive thinking!
Last night, when I was preparing another article for Wayne Liew Dot Com, I received an text message from the real Josh Lim:

Wayne Liew Yee Piao… This is the real Josh Lim from Advertlets here. Someone has been leaving comments pretending to be me. Please check, I left a new comment on your blog.
I thought Josh was trying to fool around here but I don’t think other than the real Josh and those who are my Facebook friends will know my mobile phone number. I replied and made things clear with him.
The person who previously voiced his “disappointment” of me writing paid posts on my blogspot blog is not Josh Lim as the real Josh Lim immediately left a comment after knowing about it through my post. Also, I do have a few people e-mailing me or commenting on that issue saying that Josh will not be doing that supported by various reasons.
Did I looked stupid? I should say yes. Wait a minute, should I thank this impostor? I know he/she (mostly he, probably a Malaysian) might be laughing when he was reading this. Don’t choke dude, I am thanking you.
Here is my usual style of writing a post again! 5 Reasons I Should Thank Grave-Digging Impostor!
-
Investigate before concluding
I have learnt my lesson. If I would have take my time to ask Josh about the whole thing, I wouldn’t had come out with such a stupid blunder. I have made a conclusion that made myself looked like a dumb. To all my readers, even if you come across something that might be a great content to be posted, please do the topic a thorough research before blogging about it.
People are envious of me
Thanks to the impostor for telling me that I am worth to be played a prank alongside Josh Lim. I am proud of myself and one question to the impostor, “Are you envious of me?” You just helped me out of your envy. Thank you very much.
I got a post to write
Dear impostor, I am very grateful that you brought up an issue for me to blog about since I actually came across a blogger’s block yesterday. My draft posts are all not ready to be posted and you have done me a favor in helping me to keep me to my posting frequency.
I got advice on paid post writing
I got a long lecture from goldfries which I will look deeper in it. Paid post has always been my main income source until the last month. Most probably I will be writing lesser since cloned humans don’t like it.
The best I guess to cut off my spamming history will be deleting my blogspot blog (after I have been paid with all the holding funds).

I know more about human
I am just to naive about people’s attitude. I do come across great and nice people over the blogosphere but this experience raised my awareness about people’s attitude, especially we are all behind our monitors. I guess the Internet is just as same as the society. I shall be careful of people around me as well.
The above is the all that I have to thank the great impostor. Minor damages have been done but they will just bring me worthless lessons. I have learned one more thing on my journey to be a 18 years old teenager.
What’s your opinion?
What do you think about people imposting to be others? I thought of using a cursing post against that guy but what do you think about my post above? Do you think that it looks more professional?
Have you came across such people who impersonate others? Tell me your experience about it.
I am sorry
To Josh, I hope you would forgive me for my clumsiness in handling things. I got my lesson. I also hoped that one day, you will have no more such things happening, on both MyBlogLog and anywhere else on the Internet.

So far, I don’t care if anyone pretend to be someone else or something. I usually will investigate something if anyone claims/tell/narrate/talk/debate/whatever it is about something. If I can’t find anything about it, I just ignore it. If I can find something about it, doesn’t mean I will it. I will check for more evidence before doing anything.
So far, haven’t been in this situation before online. It’s a different story in RL.

Cheers, mate!
Glad to see that you worked things out.
Situations like this are a good opportunity to practice the 90/10 principle.
Cheers!

Aiyoh, I didn’t lecture you la.
A lecture would be “you are wrong, you yadayada yada blablabla. I think you should boomboom whack bang bang. … *nag* ….. *nag*….*more nag*”
Nothing against you, nothing against anyone doing paid post. Just my thought on what paid post is leading the blogosphere into.
Cheers.

You are giving someone who is a nobody pretending to be a somebody way too much credit

@ kljs
In real life, probably I will manage it better (if I see a board outside the Parliament saying Wayne Liew is a bad guy, I will think that it is some kind of vandalism).
My experience is still not enough is trusting people and human interaction I guess.
@ Deimos
What is the 90/10 principle? Can teach me or blog about it and notify me?
@ keeyit
With sites like Fake Steve Jobs (Steve Jobs - Founder of Apple) become so famous and getting tonnes of traffic, some people might want to follow suit.
@ goldfries
I know you are not commenting about me. Your comment in my last post is insightful and might be a blogging material next few days because I do find an issue to blog about.
Forgive me if I got anything wrong with your last comment. The reason has been posted to the previous post.
@ Andrew
I don’t want to but….
@ LeeChien
No he is not, believe it or not, he actually doubled up his comment and tell me it was nothing and he has no hard feelings on me or Josh, he is just being skeptical about paid posts.
So, I am forgiving him…
@ Dad
If you are reading this comment, rest assured! I am studying, my posts are pre-written and it is a must (my principle to reply to my commentators).

Haha no problem.
As i mentioned, small matter. So now one thing leads to another, so you’ll have something new to post about and that’s good!

@ goldfries
Thank God but some of the upcoming posts may have been pre-written. The examination I am having is a life and death one.
@ ahlost
It appears that the whole thing is done my a imposter. Darn him!
@ LeeChien
All I can say is “I have never seen you scolding people with words before.”
