Well, I think it really depends on what the interview is all about. First of all, why are you interviewing her in the first place? If it is because of a particular achievement that she has accomplished, ask her on how she got into the whole thing and what motivates her to put in the effort in order to achieve it.

The most important thing that you must do before interviewing someone is to make sure that you do your "homework" about that particular person properly.

@ Jared
Thanks to you. Had a great time interviewing you guys. ;)

@ Matt
Glad that you like it. Big fonts are nice to the eyes but they make a page seems longer.

@ Patricia
"A partner is something more."

I have to agree with that. Not only that he/she is going to accomplish tasks, motivation as well as business growth ideas will come from partners as well. Jared and Matt really taught me a lot on partnership.

Great interview Wayne! Partnerships are always a challenge to not only setup, but to maintain. Often I hear about how you should partner with someone that compliments your skill sets, but I feel that can easily turn into too much a role base function and the partnership is no longer 50/50. I feel the more important factor should be the other partner's passion and work ethic. If you find a partner that has those qualities, your company will become unstoppable.

My advice: Don't get too stuck on the "skill sets" of your partner because you can always hire someone to do tasks. A partner is something more.

Wayne, thanks for the writeup. I like the skype chat, you asked some great questions. It gives the interview a very personable feel. I also like the way you laid things out on your blog, it's real nice on the eyes.

Good stuff Wayne, see you soon.
