Putting your blog name as your name will help to pass on traffic to your blog, showing the blog is owned by you. However, having your own name can help building your reputation in commenting. It’s all up to you on which to choose.

i drop a comment on topics i’m familiar with and when i’ve something to say. while doing so, i also put my blog as my name. not just a marketing but my reason is to state that i really own the blog and it is my representation in the blogosphere

Well, it’s true that commenting bring traffic But for IMHO, most important things is to communicate and to build a possible relationship with that blogger. Blogging is not all about money, it’s about communicating and learn from each other!

Always say something positive and constructive, LOL.

It’s really a lot of work to comment if we just want some traffic:) That’s why I rather comment on your blog rather then Darren blog.

Thanks for commenting on my blog. Actually, I find commenting is fun simply because I get to voice my views about something.

I have a thought that someone will read my thoughts although I know some comments will not be even bothered by people.

Any way, I did comment on other blogs. But not always positive comments depends on post contents. I think just be yourself and shared your thought !

I’m a bad commenter because I rarely leave comments. I read many blogs and should start commenting more often. When I do happen to comment, I try to leave something that will either add to the discussion with the other commenters or get the author’s attention by replying to his/her post.

I always think it’s fun to read long comments. They make me feel like I’ve posted something worth talking about. I will definitely visit a commenter’s blog if they write three paragraphs.

This was a wonderful post, and I will try to keep these things in mind as try my best to comment more often on blogs.
