As a college entrepreneur, time management is important and yet, I can’t seem to take control of my time and balance my ongoing ventures with college studies. I am sure that you as an entrepreneur face the same problem of insufficient time as well. We always want to do more for our business but we just don’t have the time.

The Growing Field of Social Entrepreneurship

Social entrepreneurs are a fairly new group in the sub-umbrella of entrepreneurship, entailing individuals who apply business practices to solve larger societal problems such as poverty, malnutrition, or pollution.

These entrepreneurs recognize the social problem and thus manage a venture in the attempt to make an overall social change, regardless of the effort it may take. The end performance is measured much differently than typical entrepreneurships, since profit is not a main concern; the focus instead revolves around the societal change that occurs.

Relationship building and networking are primary reasons why small business owners and entrepreneurs participate in social media. In fact, I recommend networking as an important source for motivation.

Over the past few months, I have been very active on Twitter and if you have been following my Entrepreneur Interviews segment, you will learn that I got to know most of my interviewees via Twitter (@WayneLiew).

I’m sure that if you are active on Twitter, you would have exchanged a few replies or direct messages with other Twitter users or Tweeples (technical term :mrgreen: ). This is how you build the relationship. But how can you bring these relationships to the next level?

ClickBooth, an affiliate network, caught my attention when they got themselves a brand new blog design which you can check it out yourself by visiting the ClickBooth blog. Apart from the new blog design, they are also paying more attention to their social media presence.
