I am lucky because my aim is to start a brand new blog without having any transfer fuss. Of course, losing all the backlinks that my old PR5 Blogger blog is a huge sacrifice but life goes on and this blog is actually on a Google PR4 now. However, things might be easier if the value of the links from my old Blogger blog can be passed on to Wayne Liew Dot Com.

If you scroll down a bit after the fold of Wayne Liew Dot Com, you should see a small Entrecard widget which I have made available due to some motivation I get from Victor of The Neotrepreneur and Deimos of AhKong.net.
I am still a bit skeptic about this banner exchange traffic generation widget but I thought I would give it a try since the whole blogosphere is hot about it.
Entrecard Testimonials By Other Bloggers
The following few will be a few quotes that I have collected previously from a few blogs on their thought about this traffic generating and money making tool.
First up, the quote by David Peralty of eXtra For Every Publisher on Why I Won’t Be Using EntreCard is what makes me doubtful on whether to sign up to Entrecard before this.
EntreCard is kinda dumb, and people that are using it, are just increasing the money that flows into the pockets of the guy that created it.
Once the buzz wears out, he will sell the site, pocket a decent deal of money, and leave most people with another useless widget on their blogs.

When we face problems in blogging, the first thing we know is to ask for help. We go to everywhere that we can think of to seek for the solutions which may or may not help us.
The downside about asking the whole world for blogging solutions are:
- Time wasting. Instead of knowing for sure where to ask, we spend our time typing, or copying and pasting our questions here and there!
- Inadequate follow up. If everyone is providing you with an answer, you will need to reply and once the solutions are in your hands, you often forget to thank or to follow up on the solutions provided.
- Degrading professionalism. Have you ever seen a great leader or someone in authority panicked about something and seek solution from everyone? No! This is because their credibility and reputation will be at tarnished.

Search engines
This is the place I turn to first for troubles that I came across in blogging. The problems that we faced in blogging or in every aspects of life are mostly gone through by others and it is very likely that they will be documented on the Internet.

Search engines nowadays is capable of providing answers to nearly everything. The best of finding answers with this method is that no one will know you are facing problems and if you are patient enough to go through page after page of search results, you will gain a lot of related knowledge along the way.
Downside: An urgent problem such as inability to load your blog or a spoilt modification to your blog theme will require a faster method as going through page after page of irrelevant search results will only delay your seek for the crucial solution.

Google AdSense Referral Income Shrinking For Publishers
First up, the big news of the week is of course money-related. The biggest Internet or blog monetization platform, Google AdSense is making the headlines again by becoming stingier to their publishers.
New changes have been made to the Google Adsense Referral Program. You can read the summary of the changes over at Summary of New Changes to AdSense Referrals Programs. People living outside US, Canada and Japan will have their Google AdSense earnings greatly affected by these changes but not me since I have been banned by them ages ago.

Google, the superior search engine sees an outgoing link from a page as a vote to the landing page of the link. We can give our votes to every page we want but we are having our blogs on the Internet close to being owned by Google. This means, even if we wanted to link to others, we have Google’s rule to follow.
Google, in their webmaster guidelines, under the heading Design and content guidelines, point 7, states that bloggers and webmasters must check out and prune broken links from our sites.

As a blogger, we always focus on our new contents like what I have mentioned in Vital Sections for a Blog Clean Up, it is important to revisit our old posts to keep them updated and of course, to remove or update broken links!

Catchy title is one way of baiting traffic. Some people can be so good in writing catchy titles so that they can get the attention of others with just the title.
