10 Ways To Fill Up Blogging Idle Time [Part 1] received a good response from you all but there’s no suggestion to the list so I guess everyone is waiting for the [Part 2] to be out before making any suggestion.
With this post I will share with you the remainder five things you can do during your blogging idle time.
Social bookmarking
Do you know what are Digg, del.icio.us, and Reddit? These are social bookmarking sites where you vote or bookmark the contents you like and the most popular contents often appear on the home page of these sites for a period of time.

When you are free or during your bloghopping session, you can actually submit articles to these sites for the blogger. People say that we are selfless when we submit our own contents but with your help in submitting our contents, we will really appreciate it and maybe adding our votes to the submission.
Register for new services
New services such as blog directories that can increase your number of backlinks, advertising platforms that can let you experiment different blog monetization methods, productivity enhancement tools like time management tools, RSS Feed Reader and so on. You might find hat you are always reading posts on great service or directories being promoted but always don’t have time to sign up for. This is it!
Make a list when you always read about these services and when you are free, look at this list and start to sign up! In the end, you don’t only have a try out of the service, if you are a blogger, you can blog about it!
Contacting your readers and peers
I have a list of blogging friends and peers in my Google Talk account which I contacted every time I have nothing to do. If they asked you or contacted you some time ago, this means that they are highly likely to be reading your blog. Getting personal with readers is important in a way. Also, you can contact them if you have encountered some problems or a great plugin used at their blog.
I know most of us like chatting on MSN Messenger but now, try switching your target chatter a little, chat with fellow bloggers. I know it might sound like a job but I didn’t ask you to stop chatting with your friends.
Watch self-made videos
Video sites like Youtube and Google Video are sites that always give me blogging inspiration. You should try this out. There are tonnes of videos up there, you can go for what is popular, what is undiscovered or search for anything you like! When you found something like a guide or something that had made you laughed and you think the video will let your readers laugh as well, blog about it!

If you think your readers might have watched those popular videos before, try digging deeper. You can find videos that are undiscovered and not yet watched and favourited by people. When you share these videos, you might get a boom!
Clean up the cob webs
I am sure that when you stated blogging, you don’t know much about writing good contents, search engine optimisation in post writing or you are blogging on a out-dated information in the past. Now, when you are free, go into your Archive, dig out all the post and start to amend it.
I know it will be a crazy to amend all of them but you can set yourself a schedule, maybe auditing five posts a day. With this, all the cob webs in your archives will get sucked out and when some search engine traffic got onto your posts, you can present these search engine traffic with a fresh and updated set of data.
Conclusion
I am done with the 10. I am sure that there is something that you do to fill up your idle time but not featured in both of these posts. Tell me about them. Everyone can think of great things so if you have something in your mind, just voice it up! Anyway, I guess I have covered fairly what most bloggers do during their idle time. Any new things that you’ve learnt here?
