I am sure that many of us do bloghopping or blog browsing and sometimes we will come across blogs like Blogging Bits that does not have any form of adverts. I am amazed of these bloggers because having no ads in a blog will definitely improve the neatness and usability of a blog. Also, a blog which don’t have any ads will give a good impression for first time visitors.
Unless, you are expecting to make money from your blog, the cost needed to fund the self-hosting is actually quite cheap nowadays if you know which plan will suit your blog nicely. Today I will compile a list of factors or ways that a blogger has in his inventory to enable his blog free from any form of visible form of advertising.
Funds from offline activities
Some bloggers have day jobs and some even have high-paying ones which will make them capable of having an expensive hobby like blogging.
If you are a student like me, my only offline income will be the allowances from my parents which I also see students pay for their hosting this way and don’t have any ads on their blog.
Passionate niche
Some people devoted so much love in one topic until they are willing to pay for it as long as their voices will continue to be heard over the blogosphere. You can hardly find these blogs in the blogosphere today but I can say that there are such bloggers. Will you become one?

Other online income
Some bloggers make money online but not through their blog. Their blog might be just a medium for them to share the tips and tricks of other money making methods which they are currently doing. The Internet is a huge gold mine and if you actually know the many ways to make money online, you can afford not to place any adverts on your blog.
Who cares about money?
I know this is odd but maybe there are such people as well. They see money as evil and they don’t think money is everything. They might be tired of money since money is used everyday or they might have abundant of it without making much effort to earn it.
Do you guys and girls know other reasons why people don’t like money?
New blog
A new blog, which started out with no reader base and traffic should not have adverts on the site. This is because when your site is new, the amount of contents you have will definitely be less and when you put on the ads at this time, your blog might be seen as a spam site by those visitors that you recommended here. If you have a new blog or you are new to the blogosphere and you are those impatient types of people, listen to me. Don’t put any ads into your blog unless you are having at least 20 visitors a day.
Friends and family blog

This kind of blog can be seen everywhere as well. The blog might be set up to celebrate an event, a newborn and a relationship or even a family and friends trip. I won’t call this as a personal blog since they might not entertain unknown guests because they are aiming response from friends and family members only. The main aim of these blogs is to share things and the blogger might not even bother to let people advertise on the blogs.
Sponsorship/donations
Some blogs that provide community consciousness and charities-related information might not make their site look like a money making site. People who are appreciative of what these blogs are doing will eventually supply them with funds in the form of sponsorship or donations. Collecting donations as income rather than placing flashy ads will tend to raise the level of trustworthiness of a charity blog.
Free host

As I said before I started this article, the costs to be paid on blogging are normally just the cost of hosting and domain names. If you are a bit inclined to bring in more visitors, you might consider advertising with Google Adwords and other similar services (some offers free or discounted advertising in the form of coupons). Using a free host and free of charge advertising will lower the need of making money with your blog.
Other forms of income
A blog can make money, other than in the form of visible advertising such as paid posts and ad panels, a blog can earn through affiliate sales, membership fees and pay-to-read contents. This is why some blogs are able to live without all those nasty ad panels.
Lazy

I know placing ads on your blog can be a hard thing by having lots of considerations before placing an ad panel but I have to say that these days, some people are just lazy. Even if you ask them to sign up for an advertising platform as a publisher which normally have only a few lines of details that are required to fill in, they don’t want to do it. Come on, laziness is one thing that you can’t have if you want to have a good blog. If you want to earn passive income or have success without effort, I can tell you that blogging is not for you.
Conclusion
What do you think? Will you ever get the chance of freeing your blog from any form of advertisement? Do you pay more attention to blogs with no ads? What are the other reasons that you think will make a blog free from any form of advertising.
